Desires Poem by Srishti chaplot

Desires

Wishes and desires dawns in our heart,
And then they become our life's part..
They urge us to get more and more,
And pushes us to the greed's door..

Soon they become the cause of our misery,
These desires fermented make us angry..
Brings sorrows instead of the promised joy,
Peace of soul it tends to destroy..

But we are at a race with the world and its people,
Like the peaceful waters after agitation creates the ripples..
So we tend to move on mindlessly,
Forgetting spirutuality while becoming materialistic tirelessly..

Where is it all going to stop?
This race give place to peace on top..
The nature's worth comprehended,
And the need of soul attended..
