Divided, We Will Not Stand Poem by Hebert Logerie

Divided, We Will Not Stand

Rating: 4.0

Look at the protests
Look at the arrests
A house, in scission, cannot stand
A country divided has bloody land
Bloody streets, wounded citizens
Murdered relatives and friends
We cannot stay being disunited
Separated and grossly divided
We need each other to survive
We need to be one to make it
A house, in turmoil, will never thrive
A country, in chaos, will sink in the pit
Look thoroughly at the situation
In unison, we must take action
Our country deserves better
We need to do it together
Divided, we will not stand
All will perish on this Land.

The poet and the poem is imbued with passions of patriotism, but God knows who will heed these words of wisdom!
