Do you know how much your friendship means to me?
Have I even told you so?
Well listen friend, I'm telling you now!
I just wanted you to know!

That if I didn't have you in my life
I don't know where I would be.
I wouldn't have turned out the way
your friendship has helped me to be!

I hope that I've done the same for you
in some small and special way.
And helped you to become who you are
maybe more than you were yesterday!

You've taken me as you found me
but have improved the me I began.
Do you know I love you, dearest friend of mine
Because you have loved me always for who I am.
