A kind, yet depressed man,
So kind, so sincere, and honest.
Such a man deserves happiness,
Yet hollowness and sadness is all that is felt.
Someone who left his life,
Someone who meant so much to him;
Turned away from him and walked away.
Or this is so I interpret.
Changing his name,
Changing his supposed destination,
This may seem deceiving to everyone,
But it won't help you overcome your sadness.
Leave these sad memories behind,
Find someone else, perhaps.
Make each day meaningful;
Enjoy the wonders of this world.
I promise you, you won't be sorry.
C.J. i could repeat some of the glowing compliments you received in the earlier comments, but i'll just say well done. thanks for sharing. bri :) i'll send it to MyPoemList. p.s. of course i have to write more! Or this is so I interpret. ..........i'm not sure if the english is proper, but i like this line a lot, mostly because you admit that you are making an interpretation. Leave these sad memories behind, Find someone else, perhaps. Make each day meaningful; Enjoy the wonders of this world. these are GREAT suggestions. of course they are easier suggested than accomplished.
Your poem shows a very kind and sympathetic heart. These lines show a poet's insight into another person's feelings, 'Yet hollowness and sadness is all that is felt. Someone who left his life, Someone who meant so much to him; Turned away from him and walked away' I'm always amazed when I read your poems
This is a heart warming poem. It seems you are the tiniest bird here, having the broadest heart and the sweetest melody. I hope the poet to whom this poem is anonymously addressed, will feel inspired and motivated to look for new meanings of life. An excellent poem with a very apt title.10/10 from me. Well done, little star!
How kind and thoughtful you are, ! Your lovely poem demonstrates this, by far.
