Us
Thus
We make our dream
So serene
Chiffon fluttering breeze
To life a lease
Drew I close, in awe.
I in your eyes saw.
Brim of love.
Coo of a dove.
Barefoot to you.
Took off my shoe.
You my prayer.
Stood you there.
Temple of my desire.
The steeple the spire.
Quintessence of romance.
Fulfillment of my dance.
You held my hand.
In heaven stand.
Your arms garlands.
Drawing in bands.
My being, I to the fore.
Surrender to the lure.
Burn in my loins the fires.
Seek that the sires.
Bloom therein flowers.
In Venus’ gushing showers.
As I roll to seek the flow.
Unasked twinkle of a glow.
Oh please stop, slow.
I have you though.
Moon long gone, has dimmed.
My curtains now rimmed.
The inevitable dawn.
My dream sawn.
Its now fawn.
Yes Gone.
A groan.
Moan.
You.
I.

Great rhyme and beautiful imagery. I really admired the way after 'moon long gone has dimmed' it cleverly spans down to the left with gorgeous metaphors of passion and love. 10 Karin Anderson
