Dreams
Dreams are like gas balloons
Soaring in the air
Of unforeseen uncertainties.
They burst into smithereens
On often attaining
The heights of absurdity.
So dreams should be reigned in
Scrupulously and cautiously
By earthly pulls and gravity.
Or they shall lose their existence
Into the cruel quicksand
Of worldly realities.
