Dropped By The Wings Poem by Priyanka Manjunath

Dropped By The Wings

When you are sitting close and yet you feel that you are miles away
The smile that your heart let you draw for someone who speaks at their own will and worth
That unfair gesture and cruel sacrifices made to honor their presence
Still spinning the reel of kindness knowing that pain is the other's advantage
The yes against every no that came from the heart
When the loud screams of pain are answered with a shut up!
Outcasting in fanatic words
A celestial guardian tag, after all this
No more forcing, just stay apart
Faulty mind dreamt of stars
Falling in failure the ground hurt a lot

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
What happens when you believe that you are cradled by the celestial wings of some eternal being and then you begin to understand that you mean nothing.

Every painful action in admiration is an advantage. One becomes cruel to one's ownself by sacrificing for another.

Its all sweet in words and when you fall it hurts. Friends are like a mirage in deserts, truth hurts when you know your place is nowhere in their hearts while you had them in yours all the while.

Its hard to seperate and harder to realize the insult in store for the future. Suffering is for sure.
