Duplicated Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Duplicated

Nothing God creates,
To closely examine.
Done to do to evaluate.
Has not been duplicated.

Be you, me or anyone else,
Of an ethnic race.
Hyphenated to claim space,
With a place...
In the United States Of America.
And conscious of this.
Known and condoning it.
Whether or not,
Our shown differences are accepted.
The act of facts matter.

Regardless what labels we choose to wear.
Preferring to envision,
Ourselves in divisions.
From color of skin to texture of hair.
Or who is better than others to declare.

Without the air to breathe or water to drink.
And minds to use some do to think.
What God has done to do to create,
No one living...
Has yet proven they have power to duplicate.
Although there are many,
Believing they can survive without eliminating...
All the nonsense they feed upon.
To put in their mouths to chew and spew.
Not to have this found to come out,
In the end.
Leaving no one to prove,
What God has done to allow us all to do...
Is more innovative to create.

Be you, me or anyone else.
Of an ethnic race.
Hyphenated to claim space,
Rushing to find that place to eliminate...
All the B.S. fed to feed upon,
In the United States Of America.
No matter who chooses what to use,
To cover and smother up pretensions!
