Elastic Attitudes Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Elastic Attitudes

So much is available to learn and digest.
For those willing to make efforts,
With patience to tolerate...
The going through the process.
A lack of discipline, desire or motivation,
To initiate.
Since opportunities come.
And seldom await,
For the ones unprepared...
To identify them to appreciate.

Envious fits and jealous splits,
Delivers a returning...
Of what has been invested.
And negative elastic attitudes to plaster,
Stretched to wrap around...
Continous unproductive moods to be found,
Eventually snaps...
With a loud heard sound,
From those who have created their own divisions.
