Empty Feelings Of Love Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Empty Feelings Of Love

Rating: 5.0

You never sang me love songs, never did give any flowers
although we've been married just about forty-three years
now.

An emptiness hidden inside where tears are always falling
into empty feelings of a love that never really was, not
ever existing in a real unconditional love.

A love that's always been dreamed of, but it never did be-
come a reality in our lives for some reason, guess you were
too selfish and I was too giving, being taken advantage of.
