Endless Joy In Nature Childhood Experiences Poem by Terence George Craddock

Endless Joy In Nature Childhood Experiences

I wonder how much joy city children miss
never knowing depths of joy city life deprives
never knowing myriad experiences country
children live in countless wild life interactions;
how much do children in cities miss not seeing
wild ducks glee feeding feasting on wet days
experiences lost in not playing in muddy water
on the dry way to school because they are always;

driven in comfort cars fearing getting wet weather
sometimes especially in hot summer or warmer
spring and autumn playing in the rain can be fun;
a time of joy splash splash even a hose on lawns
sliding on wet grass blowing bubbles to butterflies
how much are closet cell phone generation missing;

never knowing joy slice depths city life deprives?
