Eros, agape and philia,
Greek with which I’m unfamiliar,
denote three kinds of love. For heroes
above one’s station love is eros.
Love of higher for the lower
is agape, pushing power.
Philia is love between
pairs that on each other lean,
equals, without lower, higher,
balance democrats admire.

I learned about these three kinds of love in church during the 70's, a time of revival and study from literal Greek translations... Love the last line!
