Its what happens when you turn off the light
You can not sleep so all you do is stare at it
and closing your eyes does not really matter
Your head is ready to indulge the darkness
blinking at nothing through beady little eyes
The rest of your thinking is just trying to lie
Processing a way to sleep in the quiet mess...
