Ever Beloved Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Ever Beloved

Rating: 5.0

You are a friend
ever beloved
though I see you
not by darkness

though I see you
not by day
your true friend
I swore

to ever stay
though the moon
the tides
may rise may fall

though countries
civilizations
crumble perish fall
I shall endure

be your friend
ever constant
unwavering till
the absolute end.

Even when
my last breath;
is taken
my life dissipates

my life force fades
slowly away; my soul;
shall still endure
for my eternal you

you my friend are
still not forsaken;
even though empires
great modern nations

crumble perish fall
may grow
or fade
or fall

still you remain
ever beloved;
my eternal friend
my eternal you.
