Every Day Now Bears A Red Tragedy

Every day now bears a red
Tragedy
Eyes that weep twilight already
In the day
Flowers that bend their heads already
In the sun’s face
Every day brings a new weeping
Every day bring a new pining
Eyes red, eyes redder, eyes
Redder and redder
Tragedy upon tragedy upon tragedy
That’s all men Amen.
