As I look into your eyes,
I see more than just a boy.
I see a home full of sadness,
But a heart full of joy.
I see the time you met
That beautiful girl,
And in her beautiful eyes
You defined her world.
I see the glare of the sun
As you’re running down that track.
And the time you wished you’d left home
To never come back.
Your eyes are a window,
A pathway to your soul.
There are so many sights
I’ve seen those eyes behold.
Your eyes keep a record
Of the good and bad times.
Your eyes tell a story,
But you see; so do mine.
