A man matures
and growing older
he soon realizes
that without a woman
by his side
he at best fractional,
for without a woman
to share his life with him
he is only in part a man
with his better half missing….

Works both ways. Life should be a shared experience. How sad to be the keeper of all your memories tucked away in your own mind, with no one to remember them but you. And how sad to not be able to express your greatest talents to another? You get it, Ted! Linda :)
