Fifoot Ward Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Fifoot Ward

Whilst resting in the afternoon upon my bed,
I look to see who passes by my open door,
Nursing Staff or Sister Milly Davis
May put their footsteps on my Ward floor.

They wish to transfer me to Willow Ward,
To give me my own room and not to share,
Willingly I am prepared to go,
But what will await me ~ I am not aware.

My Future in Life is not assured,
A Prosthesis at present is not for me,
With Divine Help I shall succeed,
And with YOUR Decision I shall not disagree.

‘Life is what you make it’ ~ I am told,
As YOUR plan for me does unfold,
My Faith in YOU shall continue to grow,
As my improvement begins to show.

The Staff in FIFOOT wonderful are,
To assist my recovery day by day,
As I each day I progress towards Good Health,
And they assist me all the way.
