Five Liners 36--40 Poem by Indira Renganathan

Five Liners 36--40

Rating: 5.0

36 Failed Imageries

As rainbow wants to steal the colours
From the lotuses in the lake where
Sun has dived in for a cool dip
Water's steaming up the sky to
Pour down a rain of lotus colours

37 Durga
These trees with many branches
Giving out all emotions dancing their way
While talking to other trees their root-way
I can make out how man got that great concept
On lion Durga arising energized with many hands

38 Repentance
There are reasons many to repent
Committing small to big mistakes
Feared of punishment thereby and
Missing small to big things to feel
One's folly then, so many to repent

39 Fear
Undeniably a natural emotion
Fear causes physical and mental impact
Taking you to chills to cold sweat to death
Yet, fear alone can save you friendly
From diving foolishly deep into an ocean

40 Music

That which is strung and sung is music
A pleasing sound or the succession of tones
In patterned harmony or melody played or vocalized
An art of tones creative and aesthetic in right rhythms
That which is strung and sung is music
