Flower Garden

Walking in a garden
on a summer day

viewing the flowers
growing along the way

a silent teardrop fell
the past came rushing
through

every pretty blossom
reminded me of you

leaving the flower garden
I paused to take a look

picked a yellow rosebud
placed it in the pages
the pages of my book.

Wow, this is sweet and cute and melancholy at the same time but I seem to know the feeling, and surely everyone recognizes this feeling and moment too.
Nice poem Heather, as usual. (smiles) (Report) Reply
