Flying Splinters



The broken glass flew across our sky;
In an instant, many splinters winged by.
Their coming and going we did not know,
But like a falcon seeking prey below
They dropped with astonishing speeds;
And I, the bunny, watched and conceded.
In so doing, it raptured me away,
I was taken captive to the display.
Then I made the wish.
