If only I were you... If only you were me,
We would be more accepting of what eachother believe
Accepting as to why, we are the way we are
Accepting the purpose of our lives, the distance we have travelled
finding just how far.
How far we have come in our own remarkable way
Just what we have gained slowly, day by day
Each day fulfilling for mainly ones self
Now to turn around and find that lost wealth
The wealth of accepting eachother as one
Believing in yourself, knowing you have won
Won the challenge of surviving in life
No matter how hard not giving up the fight.
So reminise our chapters of each day
Knowing you have gained so much wisdom along the way

Someone once said that to truly judge another you must walk a mile in their shoes, then along came terry Pratchett and said, that if you did that and still didn't like them, at least you'd be a mile away and they'd have no shoes to chase you with! Good work!
Ooohhhhh....I love this one and truly believe that calm acceptance is the key to many answers we seek. Just beautiful..Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful work x
Accepting each other is like holding hand each other and we can swing in same direction and enjoy the movement in same direction, free and supporting in togetherness... you done a perfect meaning in such beautiful poem, loved it_Soul
