For You I Will Wait Poem by Solomon Akpoyomare

For You I Will Wait

I will wait for the winter wave to whitecap away
She's vowed to wait till the next season
Thus I will wait as well
I'm skeptical what's the coming season
Would you intimate me what season are we in now?

She wouldn't disclose to me her acumen for waiting so long was
I have called on her creepingly for colossal
Days have past, weeks have and months have past
We were friends we fought and she forgave me
Still I have to wait for the next season?

For the first time in a long while I realized she desire to be with me
Caution of her relatives and folks, she relent to familiar me
I was quaver by her unquestionable resolution to resolve my doubt of her heart
She is so picky yet she picked me from the millions she possess at her disposal
For you i will wait for the next season no matter what it may be?
