Salvation on The Road

As human as I am,
Privilege to proclaim my faith in this world of pride
Yet, I am lost in my prestige
Controlling not my conscience.

As human as I am,
Privilege to proclaim my faith in this world of hatred
Yet, my heart is hashed to my foe
Controlling not my destructive desire.

This is not my will
This is not my fate
Yet, I am relentless in running till the end
My salvation on the road.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
