In grade one you became my very best friend, ,
I know that it’ll remain that way until the very end..
Through our childhood years together we grew, ,
Always remaining the inseparable two..
The last year of primary school came to an end, ,
And it was then that we both lost each other as a friend..
High school we said the occasional hello and goodbye, ,
To be close again both of us too stubborn to try..
Towards the end of our last year things started to change, ,
We started hanging out a bit and whoa was it strange..
And now I can say every promise will stay forever true, ,
You’ll be there at my wedding, my kids’ birth and the same goes for you..
One last promise to keep until the end, ,
Always my sister, my world, my very best friend..
