Fossils Poem by Stevie Taite

Fossils

Rating: 4.8

Are fossils a thing of the past?

Are fossils a thing of the past
or forming right now as we speak?
The surge of mankind maybe
brought in it's wake
a fossil-uncovering peak

logic says they'll still occur
beneath our vast ocean floor
But there'll be no reason
for digging around
No one'sholding their breath anymore

So maybe they are of
the past
No need to keep float such a notion
Shame their significance
got all washed up
on the shores of Creationists' ocean

I enjoyed your poem, your poetic skills are impressive, fossils are poems in themselves...history frozen in time, they shout..we were here once! We had a voice and we sang with life! Your poem makes us ask ourselves, will we do the same? Great poem my friend! ! Also, I feel your pain on trying to edit your poem, you would think a site this involved would be able to remedy this problem we have here

Are fossils things of the past? This is a very good question. MM

Now it’s no one’sholding. This page is impossible. I can’t edit my poems as when you go to edit, you can’t access all the words in the tiny little box. What am I doing wrong?
