Four Seasons Of You Poem by 0s1 Silver

Four Seasons Of You

Rating: 5.0

You are the spring
You brought life back to me after the cold winter killed me
You embraced me in warm sunlight that seems like a dream
You became the sun; my source of energy.

You are the summer
Your passionate kisses set me on fire
Your unwavering gaze makes me sweat
You are the heat; burning me inside out.

You are the autumn
Your whisper like the howling wind
Your warmth are fading away from me
You are like the candle, life ruined for me.

You are the winter
Your eyes icy cold
Your heart frozen old
You are the sparks, the little moment of gold.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When my literature teacher told us that every season can represent an emotion, I guess that's what made me wrote this.

This is an excellent poem! Your imagery is fantastic, rhythm is slow and deliberate, giving emphasis to your words. Very well written, congratulations! I am sure your teacher will give you an A on this one! Please keep writing, you have a good handle on English and an innocent and pure style. Write at least one poem a day and you will see a significant improvement in your work! Thank you for sharing, RoseAnn
