My eyes boundless are unbent to kiss the sky.
Up, held not by fetters, but bird-free to fly.
Jet-flight mends my spirit with loftiness by
Me. Blue within my eye's view, vast and high.
Outstripping gravity's hold across the mile,
Into my heart—strength of the eagle sets a smile.
With arms v-stretched wide as the wings plumed with style,
Freedom's pace escalates like the jet's speed dial.
The sun's beam adorning my aura is sweet.
My mind from prison free, air friendly did meet.
Freedom like a blanket well over me is neat,
The dream of it now matured as fruit complete.
The rushing of light like the creek uplifts me,
To the stage of wind-great ecstasy I see.
Freedom to reach the highest heaven, the key—
That which grace did transform dear, restraint to be.
I know that its been said already but you are great with imagery
A poem, which is in rhetorical, beautiful images and with bombastic!
A poem of high altitude overseeing some beautiful images.
very nice imagery. Do you use a spell checker before you post?
Wow! Wonderful Obinna and I can feel the freedom with all the excellent imagery you have contributed to this soaring poem. It is all rhymed beautifully too! 10 Karin
