Frozen In Time

I stare at your picture tracing your face in my mind
Every line, every juncture, every detail that drew your smile
Every pore, every shade, the minutest twinkle in your eye

I look at your picture remembering moments in my mind
Every word, every look, every stare that made us smile
Every touch, every hand hold, the quickest embrace we manage to try

I look at your picture seeking for answers in my mind
Every mistake, every cold glance, misunderstandings that killed our smile
Every misdeed, every impatience, reasons why we let love die

I look at your picture drawing what ifs in mind
Every could've, every should've, every would've made me smile
But I know they're just sweet memories of our love frozen in time
