Trendy girl,
A sudden whirl,
In my direction,
One of a kind confection,
My mind stumbles over,
Looking for a four leaf clover,
Of an explanation for the reason,
Why she looks different, a season,
She smiles looking at me,
My mouth is shut idly,
I do not return the smile,
She keeps coming all the while,
Steadily a shark in deep waters,
As if I am the only thing that matters,
She arrives like a ship to dock,
I nervously shift my eyes to the clock,
She hands me something nice,
And I look briefly into her eyes,
Awestruck by what I see in them,
They sparkle bright like a gem...
