POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Thousand origami cranes (千羽鶴 to be read 'Senbatsuru') is a group of one thousand origami paper cranes held together on strings.
An ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. Senbatsuru are also folded as a wish for peace(Sadako and a thousand cranes) .

What a wonderful poem in just ten words! And a complete one! Truly commendable. Thanks for the poet's notes.
