Golden sunset is the Nature’s best,
So the age with clarity blessed;
The dazzling sun blurs the vision,
So the youth can’t self envision.
Train of thoughts, of battles fought,
Many won and a few I lost,
Of the victory bouquets got,
But the brickbats leave me frost.
After the life’s long tiring quest,
I can at last retire and rest;
With old friends now I can have jest,
Make new friends from east & west.
From beaming faces to haggard looks,
Ripened sweetness the sunset hooks.
Golden indeed. We are all sunset travelers. It is just that some of us reach the western light more quickly than others.Lovely write. Warm regards, Sandra
One beaming face here C.P.... thank you for the second sunset this evening and a song in my heart.
What a beautifull write filled with many hues of wisdom, if only we could look back and take with us all the sunsets of yesteday and paste them in a vault of tommorow's glow..... Bonnie
the intonation simply rolls off ones tongue like liquid silver. It is a poem that fills the mind whilst reading, spreading it to the future and behind, away from the now. A fitting name.
A lifelong tale is well illuminated from this poem. The life of a human being is full of crests and troughs of experiments. Sometimes we fall to learn and experience various lessons that in the long run enhance our responsiveness towards the dealing of life making our pillars of maturity more and more stronger as life proceeds. The liveliness ascends even more when we dictate our teachings of dignity to younger generations and watch them growing practical with positive attitude towards life. The post productive era is one of the golden episodes when sitting back at home with buddies we put our analysis of what we had been doing throughout the elapsed part of life with so many regrets and things to be proud of too but the most amazing peculiarity of this last episode is that we keep our treasure boxes full of remembrances that represent our earnings. A very well seasoned poem. Congratulations! !
The sunset announces the dawn of a brand new day... At noon, when it is very hot you can get some sunburns, the same if it is too cold... The sunset reminds us of rest time, and I´m not talking about sleep, I´m talking about rest... We find rest among the ones we love and trust, or when we love. Beaufiful and inspiring Nice doing! Keep in touch. 10

Enjoyed reading this very much it leaves the reader with a feel of tranquility and admiration of life inspite of its ups and downs, and leading them to look forward to the fact that if life should end, one is is at peace with life inwhich it has lead with no regrets but filled with happiness for what is not what life is not.... This is my interperation of Golden Sunset which was penned with much pride and satisfation.... Very good, very direct, and structure wise on the same path line after line..... Excellent choice of wording......Bonnie
