Good Wishes Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Good Wishes

Rating: 5.0

I wish flowers to blossom in all the seasons
Why should they fade away without any reason?
From my deepest heart I wish happy to all persons
Grandpa, papa. Mummy and to the dearest son

Irrespective of age I wish happiness to all
Happy memories to end with bright future call
What else can we deliver on this auspicious day?
Brotherhood, peace, happiness and all that we can say

I sought some answers and wondered
Searched deeply and sincerely pondered
Am I doing real justice for what I say?
Will this lead to and show me correct way?

I wish to shed the tears for the soldier brothers
Laid lives for peace so that we need not bother
They were our own near and dear and no others
Their bodies we received wrapped in coffers

Salute to those who resisted repressive measures
Button charges, tear gas cells and no cheers
Brutality and kicks not for personal gain
Peaceful word at large was the worry main

I may be ungrateful if I fail to recognize
All heads of Governments who laboured hard to organize
World to be freed from the yoke of terrorism
Leaving no space ……………………..

Despite all I wish to celebrate for what we did?
Come out clean though many things failed to read
By gone to be remained by gone and new years to lead
Millions of hungry to be looked after and feed

Almighty may not have time to reach
How to spread HIS message and preach
You have spared us from all the agony
Provided comforts with sufficient money

May peace descend and make Christmas holy
Not a single soul is left behind and enjoyed wholly
Happy smiles with cheerful faces and greeting to all
Let us hug with purest heart with peaceful call
