Guilt! Poem by Siddartha Montik

Guilt!

Rating: 3.9

Guilt has form or shape,

Guillt has no color or weight,

Guilt no control of itself but slow and steady,

Guilt can not be controlled b any thing else,

Guilt grows at its own speed and at its own pace,

.....Hand in hand with anxiety though it shows increase of speed,

Guilt can't be deterred nor can be stopped,

Guilt can't be transferred from one to the other,

....Subject is only its owner and his OWN!

Guilt has no thought none, its soul and only aim is "just to Grow"

It can't be ended by any means,

.. it ends itself when the Subject's life ends! !

It's a thoughtful study of a significant human eemotion. You are very true about guilt. It is a uniquely human emotion. A thought provoking poem.

One can definitely get rid of the nagging sense of guilt by turning away from acts which causes guilt and focusing on good actions! Succumbing to guilt means expressing willingness to be defeated for ever! You are absolutely true.... only humans are plagued by guilt! A deep write!

Nice poem mirroring the true face of Guilt. It always shows, no matter how hard one tries to hide it

We can free ourselves of guilt quite simply by owning up to our mistakes and confessing to our friends and any God, Buddha etc. you happen to believe in. This poem is so negative. I will go to the grave free of guilt and also this dark poem
