I schedule my day
around a letter
that will never come.

I looks for ways
to feel better,
but find none.

I remember
yesterday,
so long ago

My heart trembles
as my legs give way
to memories of old

where are you now
as I lie on the ground
trying to forget you

I wonder how
and hear the sounds
of yesterday so true

but its gone
yet the pain
still stays

Call it wrong
its gonna hurt
but i cant let go

of yesterday
