Happiness

You chose to leave me
But then you come back
It doesn't work that way
You left my heart a crack

I told you no more
But you continue on
What do you do this for
My happiness is gone

Are you with me here
Or am I all alone
Are you in sight
Or is my cover blown

You gave me your trust
And I tried to hide mine
I wasn't aware
When you gave me that sign

Am I done trying
I don't know quite yet
Am I done complying
Even though You forget

I need to draw the line
Before it's too late
Only then, I'll be fine
Just let me get this straight

You chose to leave me
But then you come back
It doesn't work that way
You left my heart a crack

I told you no more
But you continue on
What do you do this for
My happiness is gone
