Happy children's day

Happy children’s day
It is remembered today
Country is celebrating with much of fun
But how many children are silenced by gun?

Yes, children need care and attention
For education as well as nutrition
If country is to be taken in new direction
The special thrust has to be made with dedication

Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s name is well remembered
His birthday on 14th November is linked and shared
He used to personally celebrate at his official residence
So many children from across the country used to participate in his presence

Many times it is reiterated and resolved
The children are to be looked after well and their problems solved
The country stands for unity and integrity
They are to be provided with all assistance to prove quality

No nation can ill afford
Neglect and tie with cord
The child abuse and forced labor must be resisted
The school and education must be insisted

Let us all join hands for their welfare
Encourage and what seems to be fare
They should at no stage feel ignored
If such thing happens, then only country can feel honored
