Happy-happy Eid to You All

Lo! New moon has born on the western sky,
All watching with curiosity; keeping head high,
Angelic month of Ramadhaan has ended,
Eid on the first day of Arabic month "Shawwal"
Hugging and greeting each other with peace call
"EID MUBARAK"-, Happy-happy Eid to you all.

Ramadhaan—Month of fasting
Eid—Muslim Festival that comes after Ramaadhaan
Shawwal comes after Ramadhaan

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

Conscience is instinct bred in the house,
Feeling and Thinking propagate the sin
By an unnatural breeding in and in.
I say, Turn it out doors,
Into the moors.
