Heart Tripping Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Heart Tripping

Sun sets daily, as we continue to travel through life, holding
onto hope that seems to dwindle steadily through the years, mind
stretching in many directions.

Searching for answers, wondering why love is so uncertain, walk-
ing quietly below a midnight moon, heart tripping over itself
in abject sorrow.

Tears overflowing in minds of lonely people as they continue
hopelessly looking for that one true love, but only the reflection
of it's ghost appears in the shimmering moonlight, never able to
be held onto except in dreams.
