Never mind
and find
the calm with rest
this is the best course
who knows?
what was their contribution?
for the building up of a nation,
the statue really speaks of their contribution
people's memory is very short
now the government and newspapers report
highlighting the gratitude towards
with decorative words
once put at the crossroad or at junction
only the plate inscribes the name and how they functioned
no care thereafter and left to the public
some disrespect is always shown by alcoholic
leave behind their name and role
we occasionally call
and celebrate as they laid down their lives
the Government and NGO's believe in them
