History Poem by Dr Tapan Kumar Pradhan

History

Rating: 4.7

In my veins flows
my mother's milk -
through my veins
runs the milk
my mother was fed
by grand mother.

My arteries swell
with my father's blood -
swelling my arteries
flows the blood
my father received
from grand father.

And tonight I give
you my blood,
and along with it
my history.

An awesome write. From generation to generation the blood line flows through the vein. Nice flow of words.
