Holy Makeup Poem by Sandra Feldman

Holy Makeup

Rating: 5.0

What's behind the made-up face?
What tidings do we hide
Behind the makeup mask,
There's unknown space
Who can predict the ride?

We all do wear some makeup,
Real or false or shrewd
Trying to turn our vital tide,
And language is the perfect, Play
All made up, on our side.

Sandra, you are the perfect poetess, and this poem is proof, you start with question, then other questions revealed what would be involved to give the answer...who can predict the ride? , then you give the answer...all of us are involved...I so enjoyed this poem, you made it seem simple but it is deep, it is very deep!
