Hotel Poem by Julie Neises

Hotel

Rating: 5.0

That bathroom

I went in,
never came back out.

Hopes, Secrets,
Dreams, Plans,
Virginity.

Spilled on the floor.
Only a bloody towel to tell the tale.

A lesson too early learned.
Games taken too far.

Lies holding me down.
Guilt keeping me quiet.

His pleasure will always be my pain.

Once again proving that 'love' is not all it is cracked up to be...or maybe, just that someone misunderstood what 'love' really means? Beautifully handled!

Excellent poem, but terrifying for me to read. I actually felt a pang in my stomach as I read it. Absolutely powerful! 10!
