How Rare And Petrified Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

How Rare And Petrified

Rating: 4.0

How rare and petrified
The eastern jewels color to the eye
Maddened in its wonderment:
How rare and petrified.

And yet
And yet
No jewel that I saw
No jewel that I touched
More warm or sensual is
Than the black pearl.
