A vicious monster like Hurricane Matthew
With fierce winds and stormy rain can destroy
Any country on earth, like a broken toy
That's no longer needed on the painted pew.
Hurricane Matthew ravaged and destroyed
Our hometowns, churches, homes, bridges, roads
And our way of life. Our rivers are annoyed
Overflowed, and infested with toxic toads.
Our people are homeless, sad and hungry
One curse comes after another: corrupt regimes
Deadly earthquakes, intermittent and bloody
Winds. The Caribbean countries has had enough
Misery seems to follow our Haiti, who is tough
Buoyant, squashed and squished amidst the bad dreams.
