Hurt But Never Cry Poem by Godwin Kavaarpuo

Hurt But Never Cry

Nights full of pain
days of the same
heard of the shame
causing me to fame
Save me the rain
send me the sunshine
Hurt but never cry
work but never dry
trying to get to where I fit in
no room to lay me down
just tomb to tie me frown
Beside the still waters
wading in my iron boots
where I offload my many curses
in the babbling waters
