I Can't Wait Poem by Jean-luc Le Maistre

I Can't Wait

I can't wait for that day,
the day I lay my eyes on you,
and tell you all the things,
I've been wanting to say.

Your gleaming blue eyes,
will be staring back into mine,
just like the ocean,
stares back into the skies.

I know our love is true,
you've been missing me every day,
and I just want to be there,
holding onto you.

You'll always be my little cutie,
I'll keep telling you that my dear,
as you say sweet things to me,
my lovely little Baylie.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just something small I wrote about how I can't wait to meet baylie for the first time, I'll be seeing her at the airport 20 days from now. How I long for her.
