John Wayne Poem by Jean-luc Le Maistre

John Wayne

Rating: 4.5

I know you live so far away,
but I'm thinking of you night and day,
without you Baylie my skies would be grey,
‘I love you' I will always say,
I'm here forever and I'm here to stay.

Baylie you're etched into my brain,
I want you to be my ball and chain,
you think you've brought me pain,
but your love is my ultimate gain,
just think of the song John Wayne.

With my mind of steel,
I'm certain one day you'll heal,
beside your bed I will kneel,
you'll know our love is so real,
as my hands you will feel.

There are some things I've never told,
but you have a big heart of gold,
and my love for you has tripled ten-fold,
it is your hands I wish to hold,
so together let's grow old.

I know you love me and I love you too,
with eyes so big and coloured blue,
hold onto my arm like you're stuck with glue,
with love like ours so deep and true,
please let me spend my life with you <3
