I Feared Spirits And The Rest Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

I Feared Spirits And The Rest

I feared Spirits and the rest
At first
But then grew bold
For friendly the Spirits and the rest were
And I reciprocated the friendliness
With a look of the eyes
We speak:
If I go
I know that I have friends
The Spirits and the rest
Will after me remain.
