I Imagine The World-To-Come Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Imagine The World-To-Come

I imagine the world-to-come
And meeting there again
Those I have so much missed
I wonder what age we will be
And what our lives can possibly become
After the first joy of being with each other again
I cannot know
Somehow it does make sense
But I miss them so much
I want them so much to still live
I know there is much beyond my imagination
And I pray to God
We will somehow all be alive again.
